John Robert Isner is a professional tennis player from the United States. The Association of Tennis Professionals had him ranked as high as No. 8 in men’s singles (ATP).
Isner, regarded as one of the finest serves on the ATP Tour, reached his career-high singles ranking in July 2018 after winning his first Masters 1000 title at the 2018 Miami Open and reaching the quarterfinals of the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. He now holds the record for serving the second-most aces in ATP Tour history, with almost 12,000 aces.
John Isner married Madison McKinley in December 2017. They married at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina in a country-themed ceremony.
Their initial meeting unfolded in a fascinating sequence of circumstances. The year was 2011. At the US Men’s Clay Court Championship in Houston, Texas, John Isner was playing with his buddy Sam Querry. Madison and her buddies were watching the game. Madison and her buddies wanted a photo with their favourite players after the game. They, on the other hand, declined the proposal and instead invited the business to join them on a date!
Surprisingly, John was not expected to take part in the competition. The 6’10” American star had no desire to play doubles and was only there after losing his singles match earlier in the day. John seemed to have received the greatest gift of his life as a result of that one loss!

John and Madison were interested in one another and began texting each other. Their stars would, however, align once again to set up a second encounter. Madison was given a vacation to London during Isner’s visit to the city for Wimbledon!
John met Madison for a drink at the local bar as soon as he stepped off the airport. Isner was later described by Madison as “goofy and a huge goober.” Madison opted to remain an extra week, which soon escalated the situation.
Hunter Grace Isner, the couple’s first child, was born in September 2018. In October of this year, their second kid was born. The kid was given the name John Hobbs Isner by his parents.
