While Leylah shares a great deal about her life, there have been no reports of the Canadian being in a relationship currently. She seems to be completely focussed on her career right now as she has just started on the tour.

The teen however has already registered 2 Top-10 wins so far. Her first came against the then World No. 5 Belinda Bencic during the 2020 Fed Cup. Her 2nd came and her biggest so far came at the 2021 US Open where she defeated the then World No. 3 Naomi Osaka who was also the defending champion at the Grand Slam in New York.

Leylah became the only 2nd teenager on the women’s side to reach the 4th round along with British teen sensation Emma Raducanu who also made it to the 4th round before both the teens playing the finals of the Grand Slam and marking it the first time in decades that an all-teen final was played in New York. Raducanu won the title defeating Leylah in straight-sets.
