Serena Williams is a name to reckon with in the world of tennis. After winning 23 Grand Slam titles, her hunger to achieve more hasn’t reduced at all. There aren’t many records the superstar American has not broken. However, she has been chasing her 24th Grand Slam title for a while now.
Apart from being an absolute champion on the court, Serena is a wonderful mother as well. After tying the knot with Alexis Ohanian, the power couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Olympia. Today we are going to talk about a wonderful moment shared by Serena Olympia which made the headlines a little while back.
“It’s Olympia’s cake and Olympia doesn’t measure”: When the mother-daughter duo of Serena and Olympia baked a cake
Back in September this year, Serena took to Instagram to post an adorable video of her and her daughter Olympia baking a cake. “What are you making Olympia?” Serena asked the little one as she kept on stirring something in the bowl. “Rainbow cake,” Olympia replied.
“Rainbow cake? I thought it was sprinkle cake, look at our sprinkle dough,” Serena said, “I think we need to add some more milk,” the loving mother continued. Olympia obliged and started pouring milk but she might have added just a little bit more than Serena was asking for. “Just a little bit!” Serena said hastily.
Olympia apologized but Serena being Serena, more flour to the mix and said, “We’re not going to measure because it’s Olympia’s cake and Olympia doesn’t measure.” Olympia then took some sprinkles on a spoon, to which Serena said, “And we are bakers, Olympia and Serena.”
