‘Well deserved!’ Ash Barty named the WTA Player of the year

WTA Player of the Year is one of most prestigious awards given by the Women’s Tennis Association to be best player of the whole year This year the award was presented to Australian player Ashleigh Barty.
Along with Ash, Emma Raducanu won the Newcomer Award and Carla Suarez Navarro was presented the Comeback Player of the Year Award. Ash has earned this title second time and is one of most promising and best players of WTA. She has also been ranked as World Number 1 player by WTA and Overall World Number 5.
Other than WTA Player of the Year what are the Achievements of Ash Barty?

Barty has won five titles this year which include the Grand Slam Trophy which she won second time, she won the first Grand Slam Singles Title in the year 2019. This year she beat Czech Karolina Pliskova in the final and won the Grand Slam title.
She is ranked No. 1 in the world in singles by the WTA and is the second Australian WTA singles No. 1 after fellow Indigenous Australian player Evonne Goolagong Cawley. Apart from this she has been ranked No. 5 in the world and is in the top 10 players in doubles. Till date she has thirteen singles titles and eleven doubles titles to her name and a Grand Slam Doubles title along with CoCo Vandeweghe.
