Terrell Suggs, one of the most fierce linebackers in NFL history and an icon in the city of Baltimore faced arrest in Arizona on Tuesday.
Suggs was taken into custody by the Scottsdale Police Department over an incident that took place on the 10th of March and has been booked on one count of assault and one count of offense against public order.

The incident which led to the arrest of Terrell Suggs has now come to light and there is more clarity on the sequence of events. The linebacker got into an altercation with a man in a Starbucks drive-thru and subsequently pulled out a firearm while threatening him.
Suggs was in his black Range Rover and backed into the car of the stranger while attempting to go reverse at the Starbucks line.
The linebacker drove past the speaker meant to order but while backing up, he hit the car of the man and once this happened, both of them got out of their cars and began to argue. Suggs claimed he had not hit his car while the man thought otherwise as per police records. The altercation hit a dead-end and then both men got back into their respective cars before finishing up their orders and driving away.

The incident escalated when the former Baltimore Ravens star stuck his middle finger off at the man while driving away.

This enraged the man who then began to swear profusely at Suggs and as part of the subsequent exchange of words, the latter happened to threaten the life of the man and told him he would kill him. At this point, Suggs stuck a gun out of his driver’s side window albeit it was not pointed at the other man, it was meant to intimidate him and silence him.
This resulted in the man perceiving this as a threat to his life. He wasted no time in noting down the linebacker’s license plate number and approaching the police.
Since the entire incident was captured on an audio and video recording device on the dashboard of the man’s car, there is not ambiguity with respect to what went down. Shortly after his arrest, Suggs justified his move in a statement he issued by claiming he feared for his safety during the altercation and therefore pulled out a firearm.
I was getting coffee, I was not looking for any trouble. When the man in the other vehicle escalated the situation, I feared for my safety not knowing what his intentions were. Throughout the incident, I was the one who felt in danger, while fearing I would be followed home and for the safety of my family nearby at my residence.Suggs said via his statement
