On last week’s episode of SmackDown, The Bloodline laid a vicious beatdown on Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso to end the show. How did the duo respond? By falling into the trap once again on the latest edition. After Reigns refused to acknowledge Solo Sikoa as The Tribal Chief, chaos ensued between both sides. Due to the numbers advantage, the faction was able to subdue their former leader.
Reigns momentarily gained the upper hand on The Bloodline and the Ula Fala. However, a low blow from Sikoa shifted things in favor of The Bloodline. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief then delivered multiple Samoan Spikes to Reigns. Furthermore, Jacob Fatu bestowed him with the Ula Fala as the stable acknowledged their leader.
Obviously, this is leading to a reunion of the original Bloodline family. Speaking of that, Jey Uso appeared in the opening segment of this week’s SmackDown. The Intercontinental Champion confronted his younger brother, warning them to stay out of his business. Jey then met Jimmy and Reigns backstage while he was leaving the arena.
The OTC told Jey he was proud of his singles career and title win. However, the latter wasn’t buying any of it. The YEET Master declined the offer to join forces with the former Undisputed Champion. Jimmy had attempted to reconcile with his twin brother on this Monday’s Raw. However, Jey doesn’t want to return to the same people who mentally and physically tortured him for several years.
After what has transpired over the last couple of weeks, Roman Reigns will have to find a way to somehow convince his cousin. As such, The Needle Mover might soon pay a visit to the red brand and speak to a few familiar faces.
Wrestling fans criticize repetitive Bloodline segment on SmackDown
The Bloodline has been the focal point of SmackDown for over four years now. While this is a remarkable feat, it has led to the repetition of similar endings to shows. The latest episode of SmackDown was an illustration of why many fans believe that this story has jumped the shark. Hence, the WWE Universe took to X to voice their frustrations on the underwhelming segment.
A user hilariously referenced Roman Reigns’ infamous line from 2021, where he compared John Cena‘s promos to a ‘missionary position’. Moreover, they pointed out that Reigns has become what he had mocked at the time.
As a result, fans are hoping the inevitable reunion of the original Bloodline takes place soon. Meanwhile, others claimed that they couldn’t take the new Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline seriously. Users have advocated for Jacob Fatu to replace him.
