The Bushwackers had started their journey as wrestlers almost 30 years ago. They were very famous for their arm swing movements, wearing their hats sideways, and for licking children’s faces while proceeding to the ring. Back in 1966 they were known as The Kiwis and then became The Sheepherders. They were famously known as “Butch and Luke, The Bushwackers” in the World Wrestling Federation.

It’s known to all that in the past 20 years they have not stepped out as a pair and haven’t even toured in the United States together but then according to Scott Wilder Promotions, they had announced that the duo would be travelling for the promotions from this Spring of 2021 so we can all hope to witness a breath of fresh air.

The demand to watch the Bushwackers is really high

Reuniting after 20 years

As expected we see that the craze to see these two together is so high and thus the dates are filling up at an equally fast pace. They’re expected to be doing lots of public appearances, online signing sessions, physical signings, road story shows, among other things.

Luke lives in the United States and is fairly active there as he’s seen doing tours and public appearances there and due to the advent of Covid-19, a lot of virtual signings too. For instance, just few weeks back we see that he did a virtual signing on a Facebook Group called The Asylum with a  former rival of his, Typhoon of The Natural Disasters. The last match that he played was in September 2019 in Canada where he had paired up with Shortsleeve Sampson in order to defeat Team Genesis.

Butch on the other hand lives in New Zealand and had retired from wrestling back in 2001 as he had suffered a neck injury and soon after in 2003 he moved back to his home country.  It’s not like the Bushwackers didn’t reunite at all in so many years because they did come together in their home ground, New Zealand in 2018 but then again everyone is eagerly waiting to see the nail-biting performance by the duo.
