Former WWE Superstar, Zack Ryder is behind The Miz getting his unwanted nickname. The nickname that he received from Ryder is “Missionary Mike”.  The Miz explained that he got the name while they were on a European Tour. While they were discussing some private stuff Ryder asked him, “What are you? Missionary Mike?” and everyone in the locker room erupted in laughter.

The Miz even mentioned that Ryder isn’t the only one who calls him that. “Now, if I call Xavier Woods, I show up as Missionary Mike on his cell phone. Not only that, but I’ll see Big E, he’s like, ‘Missionary Mike!’ It’s a thing now and I don’t want it to be a thing.”

The Miz’ retirement plans

Miz is currently 40 years old

While many WWE Superstars aren’t sure about when to hang up their boots, The Miz is different. He clearly states that he will retire the day he stops enjoying the sport. Miz recently turned 40 years old and has a wrestling career that is more than 15 years long.

“You always want to leave on a high. Me, I will whenever… I don’t look at time. I just look at whenever it stops being fun. Honestly, I’m having the most fun I’ve ever had. I get to be with John Morrison.”

But considering The Miz’s current tun, it doesn’t seem likely that he will be retiring anytime soon. He is the current MITB briefcase holder. He has made it clear that he is after the WWE Championship.
