WWE is moving towards a new era. For many years, the WWE product was kept PG for the younger audience. However, since The Rock‘s return to WWE in February, there has been some profanity in his interviews and promos. It looks like the PG era has finally ended thanks to The Rock’s recent interviews and Paul Heyman‘s Hall of Fame speech, which included many obscenities.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the PG era’s final nail is in the coffin.
However, there have been no concrete decisions made regarding the changes in TV programming.

During the build-up to WrestleMania XL, there was a lot of blood and swearing used in the promos. That can be specifically noticed in the promo segments for The Great One and Cody Rhodes. The future landscape of wrestling broadcasting depends significantly on the preferences of broadcasters, particularly as Raw transitions to Netflix and NXT finds a new home on the CW.

Recently, WWE allowed a few of their top stars to have freedom in their promos, further indicating that there won’t be many attempts to keep things PG from now on. The Stamford-based company is experiencing a lot of changes under the Triple H regime. Only time will tell what the next big change will be in the wrestling business.

The Rock thanks NXT faction Gallus who helped him train for WrestleMania XL

The Final Boss had a match on Night 1 of WrestleMania XL after nearly 8 years. He defeated the duo of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event, along with Roman Reigns. Leading up to his tag team match, it was revealed that he was training with the NXT faction Gallus in Los Angeles and Hawaii. After the impressive performance at the Show of Shows, The Great One sent a wholesome message to them on social media.

Gallus leader Joe Coffey took to X and shared one of the pictures from the training session with the 51-year-old legend. He got a reply from The Rock thanking them for all their ideas and hard work during the training sessions. Rocky also kept a window open for another meeting, hinting at a possible return to the ring in the future.

Appreciate all the efforts, ideas, and hard work boys. Til next time. Keep kicking a** and see ya down the road.

However, this was not the first time that The Rock trained with wrestling veterans to make him ring-ready. Ahead of his match against John Cena at WrestleMania 28 and 29, he trained with former I.C. Champion Curtis Axel. As for the Scottish trio, getting praise from The Great One will only propel their careers to new heights.
