Once again, The Rock is back in WWE just in the nick of time for WrestleMania 41. It remains to be seen what role he'd exactly play.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s return to WWE this past Friday on SmackDown brought ratings delight for the company. The show averaged 1.71 million viewers, the highest since September 13. Touting the success, The Great One took to X. He thanked the fans for tuning in and teased that he’s got some disruptive moves coming up.
Johnson posted a snippet of his poorly-received segment with Cody Rhodes, where he basically demanded the soul of the Undisputed WWE Champion. Throughout the 25-minute segment, the TKO Board director kept stressing that he and Cody had become good friends ever since WrestleMania XL. Rock even put up a photo of his mother, Ata Johnson, catching up with Cody’s mom, Michelle Rubio.
Though Johnson detoured a lot before making his point, he asked Rhodes to be his champion if the latter wants to catapult himself into superstardom. The American Nightmare was shell shocked. Seeing Cody out of sorts, Dwayne told him to give it a rest for a while and meet again at the Elimination Chamber PLE this Saturday.

The Rock on X
The Final Boss has made it clear that he needs an answer from Dusty’s baby boy in Toronto. And it goes without saying that Rhodes has to do a lot of brainstorming before giving his word to the 52-year-old Hollywood mogul. Cody’s wife, Brandi, reacted to her husband’s bizarre interaction with Rock by posting a heartbroken emoji on X. Even she’s puzzled by the prospect of it.
Moreover, for those wondering if this storyline is heading toward a Cody vs. Rock showdown at WrestleMania 41, they might be disappointed. During the SmackDown post-show presser, The Brahma Bull affirmed that his story with Rhodes doesn’t necessarily need to culminate in a match.
Seth Rollins warned Cody Rhodes in Raw about The Rock offer
Fresh off his nerve-wracking exchange with The Rock on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes pulled up to Raw this week. Just when he was about to do some explaining, Seth Rollins interrupted him. The Visionary solemnly asked The Prodigal Son why he didn’t slap Rock right across his face when he made that offer to him.

Rollins claimed that Cody’s subliminal demeanor in front of Dwayne Johnson felt like a slap in the face to Seth, who sacrificed his WrestleMania dreams to help Rhodes win the WWE title last year.

Countering Rollins, Rhodes gave him a reality check on the history he’s had betraying others, including his Shield brothers, let alone his alliance with The Authority. The Architect went numb for a while before saying he can’t be a decision-maker for Rhodes as he’s a grown-up man himself.
