The Rock revealed a heartbreaking story about his father just a few weeks before his demise that has left a void in his heart.

The Rock a.k.a. Dwayne Johnson has opened up about his relationship with his father, Rocky Johnson, in the past. He has always been vocal about the tough love he received from his father. That eventually cultivated a lot of struggles for him growing up. However, The Brahma Bull recently divulged a heartfelt story of regrets with his father that wrenches his heart to this day.
Speaking on Valuetainment, The Final Boss revealed that in December 2019, he had a massive fight with his dad. He dubbed it the biggest fight ever between them. The Hollywood star said that it even ruined their holiday together. However, his father passed away a few weeks after that confrontation. Johnson disclosed that it was a regret that he never got the chance to reconcile with his dad.

Moreover, The Great One averred that he was never prepared to lose his dad. The latter suffered an embolism that led to his demise on 15 January 2020. The Rock told the host that he never got a chance to say goodbye to his father, and it was a hard hit for him. Although he wishes to go back in time to see his dad, Dwayne has accepted that it is life.
Rocky Johnson had an illustrious career in wrestling. He was one of the pioneers who paved the way for the success of the business. His son, Dwayne Johnson, followed in his footsteps to become more of a bigger icon. He revealed that Vince McMahon asked him about his contract negotiation, to which he replied that he wants a double of what the highest star is getting on the roster. It was none other than Steve Austin, who was getting $1 million at the time. Hence, The Great One wanted $2 million.
