The closing to this year’s Bad Blood PLE saw Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson make his return to WWE. He stood his ground at the entrance area, kept staring at Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy Uso in the ring, and bailed out. It was cryptic, wasn’t it? But what happened after the show went off air? Guess what? The Rock went live on Instagram.

After exiting the State Farm Arena, one of the WWE production trucks caught Rock’s attention. The Great One saw Dusty Rhodes on it and said he’s been his hero and he loves him. However, The Great One asserted that he hates his son, Cody Rhodes. One could deduce off of that why he’s back after a six-month hiatus. The Jumanji actor is heavily rumored to be Rhodes’ opponent at WrestleMania 41.

But there’s still a long way to go. It’d be very interesting to see what The Final Boss has planned for the rest of 2024. What’s exactly on his mind is yet to be unearthed. In the aforementioned promo he cut online, Johnson said he’d let everyone know how he’s feeling when the time is right.

Rock termed whatever’s been going on in WWE since he left for Hollywood as bullsh*t. But again, he’s not commented on what’s been his biggest pet peeve out of everything. On Raw after WrestleMania XL, The Brahma Bull gave Cody his flowers for finishing his story with Roman Reigns.

However, just then, Dwayne told Rhodes that their story was about to begin. It can’t be forgotten how the 52-year-old saw the fans turn on him so that The American Nightmare could fulfill his destiny. Rock has since harbored a good amount of loathing for the ex-AEW EVP.

What Triple H thinks of The Rock’s return at Bad Blood?

There’s no denying that The Rock’s return has revived the wrestling timeline once again. He’s trending across various social media platforms for obvious reasons. Reacting to Rocky’s long-awaited comeback, WWE CCO Triple H lauded his former rival during the Bad Blood post-show press conference.

Hunter asserted that no matter how gargantuan of a stature he’s acquired in Hollywood, Rock never forgets his roots. The Cerebral Assassin appeared grateful to the Attitude Era icon for still taking out time from his ironclad schedule to be a part of WWE.

For the unversed, The Great One wrapped up filming for The Smashing Machine in August. During the shoot, he even injured his elbow. As things stand, there’s no word on The Rock‘s future WWE appearances.
