WWE recently announced that it would be releasing a behind-the-scenes documentary about WrestleMania XL. The trailer for the documentary was released on April 7, the same day as WrestleMania XL Night 2. However, there has been no follow-up about the documentary ever since, with several sources reporting that it is because of The Rock.
On The Masked Man Show, Brian Gewirtz revealed several details about the upcoming documentary. First, he denied the allegations of The Final Boss holding the documentary hostage until he approved every frame. The former WWE head writer believed that there was an error in the promotion of the film.
The documentary was promoted much earlier than it should have, as it wasn’t ready to be released so soon. Gewirtz further revealed that the film started out being only 11 minutes long. However, this soon expanded to 45 minutes and stood at over an hour.
Believe it or not, there is an awesome doc. The Rock isn’t holding (the documentary) hostage until he has approval of every frame.

Gewirtz also said that, according to his understanding, the documentary was going to be released, in some form, pretty soon. Furthermore, he highly praised the film and called it a must-watch for wrestling fans.
Austin Theory calls out The Rock and challenges him to show up on SmackDown
Austin Theory had a confrontation with The Great One when he made a surprise return to SmackDown in September 2023. The segment ended with the Hollywood superstar delivering a People’s Elbow to the 26-year-old. Since then, the former US Champion has been looking for revenge and throwing shots at Johnson.

On the Babyfaces Podcast, Theory hyped up the June 7th edition of Friday Night SmackDown at the Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He started off by saying that fans can expect to see the greatest undefeated tag team of all time, Grayson Waller, and himself at the show. Furthermore, he said that nobody knows who might show up on SmackDown anymore.
You’re gonna get the greatest champions. And who knows who shows up to SmackDown anymore, you know? I mean, will Dwayne come back? Will he show back up? Will I have to put him back in his place?

The Tag Team Champion claimed that even The Rock himself could show up out of nowhere. Further, he challenged The People’s Champion to show up in Louisville. Austin Theory claimed he still had a chip on his shoulder from their last interaction in September and was looking for revenge.
