Tatum Paxley has made life a living hell for NXT general manager Ava Raine. Since transitioning into a ‘creepy’ gimmick, the 27-year-old star has continued to stalk her fellow co-workers. Taking issue with this, The Rock‘s daughter angrily called out Paxley on social media.
Raine responded to Paxley’s message for her on X. The latter posted a photo of herself closely watching the NXT executive. Evidently, the picture was captured without the fourth-generation star’s consent. Therefore, Ava Raine lashed out at Paxley by asking what was wrong with her.
Prior to this, Tatum Paxley had similarly stalked former NXT Women’s Champion, Lyra Valkyria. As such, the pair ended up becoming a tag team on the black and gold brand. Later, they would end up challenging for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. On the March 5 edition of NXT: Roadblock, Valkyria and Paxley failed to claim the titles in a losing effort against The Kabuki Warriors.

Things went south for the duo when the Irish wrestler lost her NXT Women’s Title against Roxanne Perez. Paxley ended up turning on her partner and revealing that she only teamed up with her to get closer to the championship. However, she couldn’t capitalize on the opportunity in a triple-threat match at Spring Breakin’, which also involved the new champion, Perez.
Mia Yim sends a message to Tatum Paxley ahead of their qualifying match
NXT will be crowning its first Women’s North American Champion at the upcoming Battleground PLE. A six-pack ladder match is set to take place inside the UFC Apex on June 6. As such, qualifying matches for the bout have commenced. One of those matches will take place next week, with Mia Yim taking on Tatum Paxley.
The O.C. member sent a message to her opponent ahead of their match on next week’s episode of NXT. Michin revealed that she would’ve preferred to face Paxley in the ladder match itself. However, now that they’ll be fighting for one spot, she’ll be looking out for herself only.
On the latest edition of NXT, Sol Ruca punched her ticket to Battleground by defeating Izzi Dame. Meanwhile, Lash Legend advanced into the match by knocking off Ivy Nile. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see who will be crowned the first-ever Women’s North American Champion.
