The egregious misuse of AI has become commonplace in almost every walk of life. A number of public figures are exploited over social media and remain at the mercy of those distorting their identities. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s daughter, Ava Raine, has fallen victim to an AI-generated post on Facebook. The NXT General Manager has, consequently, issued a response.
The post, made public by a dog community channel, contained pictures of both Johnson and Raine, with the latter morphed to fighting for her life on a hospital bed. The caption read that she had unfortunately met with a serious car accident on her way home. The former Schism member took to X and wrote, “there is such a special place in hell for people who do stuff like this … ya’ll are so weird.”
Raine has received some moral support in the comments section of her blistering statement. The majority of fans in there could be seen bashing the malicious use of artificial intelligence on long-existing platforms like Facebook. Speaking of Raine, the incumbent GM of NXT, her standing among the wrestling fans has remarkably shot up since she assumed an on-screen authority figure role in WWE.

She got to share the screen with her legendary father a few months ago. The 24-year-old was dealing with “All Ego” Ethan Page during a backstage segment on NXT’s New Year’s Evil when The Rock barged in. The Great One’s first-ever appearance on NXT saw him declare his daughter as the ‘Final Boss’ of that brand. He traded some verbal blows with Page and hoped for the two to share the ring on the main roster one day.
What has The Rock done in WWE this year?
The Rock started 2025 with a bang by appearing on the Netflix premiere of Raw in Los Angeles. However, his burying of the hatchet with longtime rival Cody Rhodes didn’t sit well with the majority of the audience. It seemed that their beef had ended just like that at a time when there were rumors of their inevitable showdown down the road.

After pulling up to NXT the following night, the Black Adam star didn’t return to WWE television until late February. In his comeback to SmackDown, ‘The Brahma Bull’ confronted Rhodes and asked the WWE Champion to sell his soul. Rock gave Rhodes a week’s notice to give his answer at Elimination Chamber in Toronto. At the PLE, ‘The American Nightmare’ savagely refused to accede to the Hollywood mogul by dropping a signature profanity.
As a result, Rock took a couple steps back, did the throat-slitting gesture, and asked John Cena to do the rest. ‘The Cenation Leader’ had been there the entire time, acting like he was unversed in anything. Cena, however, sold out to his former great rival and launched a brutal assault on Rhodes. Their clash at WrestleMania 41 was heavily rumored to have ‘The Great One’ involved in some capacity, but that was not to be.
Paul Heyman comments on The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 snub
There has been a lingering frustration for The Rock among the WWE Universe. His decision to skip WrestleMania and abandon the follow-up to John Cena’s heel turn was majorly responsible for the angle to flop. His associate, Travis Scott, has been nowhere to be seen in WWE of late and has reportedly had a serious falling out with the company.

Paul Heyman confirmed that bit on Ariel Helwani‘s show. ‘The Oracle’ claimed that there was a payoff to the storyline featuring Cena, Rock, and Scott, but everything fell apart, and they moved forward without the key components. Heyman didn’t comment on The Final Boss’ WrestleMania snub but quipped that WWE never advertised him for the event.

On further inquiry about why he opted out of WWE’s biggest storyline heading into WrestleMania, Heyman asserted that Johnson would be the better person to answer that question. In his defense for staying away from the Cena/Rhodes main event, ‘The People’s Champion’ said that he wanted the spotlight to stay on the Peacemaker star as it was his last Mania as an in-ring performer.
