Ahead of the upcoming presidential elections, Donald Trump has focused on appealing to a younger audience. As such, Trump has appeared on podcasts and streams to campaign this year. Following the trend, the Republican candidate will soon appear on Six Feet Under with Mark Callaway, who is better known as The Undertaker. Ahead of their collaboration, Undertaker reunited with Kane as the WWE legends linked up with Trump.
In a TikTok posted via Trump’s account, The Deadman appeals to the citizens of America by comparing the upcoming elections to a six-man tag team wrestling match. Undertaker pitted himself, Kane, and Trump against Kamala Harris, Tim Walz, and Dave Bautista. Furthermore, the former WWE Champion called the event “ElectionMania” and asked voters to choose wisely.
Undertaker’s endorsement of Trump doesn’t come as a surprise. In 2020, The Phenom donated to the then-POTUS’ presidential campaign. Meanwhile, Kane became the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, in 2018 as a Republican nominee. Since then, The Big Red Monster hasn’t shied away from openly voicing his support for Donald Trump.
As for why Bautista was mentioned in TikTok, it might have to do with the Hollywood actor’s viral video. The Animal released a two-minute promo on Jimmy Kimmel Live berating Trump and his masculinity. In addition to that, Bautista publicly endorsed Harris-Walz while pleading with the citizens to vote early. Having said that, it will be interesting to see whether the 55-year-old responds to The Undertaker or not.
Wrestling fans react to The Undertaker, Kane, and Donald Trump collaborating ahead of upcoming elections
As expected, there were divided opinions over The Undertaker ‘teaming up’ with Kane and Donald Trump. Some fans claimed they would support Dave Bautista and Kamala Harris over Undertaker and Kane any day. Meanwhile, others stood by the trio of The Brothers of Destruction and Trump.
A few users expressed dissatisfaction with wrestlers’ involvement in politics. They felt that the two industries should be kept as far away as possible from each other. Others ‘cringed’ at the TikTok, not expecting someone like Undertaker to indulge himself in such matters. Meanwhile, others hilariously pointed out that Undertaker vs. Batista was still going on in 2024.
Many fans compared this situation to Sami Zayn‘s, who’s had to cryptically post his support for Palestine on social media while stars like Taker can openly voice their opinions. Users also mocked the former WWE Champion for his close associations with r*pists, alluding to both Trump and Vince McMahon.
