The UEFA Champions League is back and with it comes some mouth watering clashes for football fans. Over the next two days the first leg matches of the 2020/21 quarterfinals will be done and we are in for four absolutely action packed games.

Porto vs Chelsea; PSG vs Bayern Munich; Manchester City vs Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool vs Real Madrid. All of these games will have high quality display and we just cannot wait for the action to start.

Altintop believes Manchester City will finally win it this season

Can Pep Guardiola’s men finally win it this time around? This has been a question that’s on every one’s lips. And this question has been asked almost every season since Guardiola has been associated with the club.

In the 2017/18 season wherein they were Centurions, the 2018/19 where VAR blocked the road for them or last season when Raheem Sterling’s miss cost them a place in the semi finals. Is this finally Manchester City’s year?

They are up against a talented Borussia Dortmund side which is highly motivated. It boasts the talent’s of Erling Braut Haaland and Jadon Sancho who on their day can take the game away from any opposition across Europe. Former Bayern Munich and Real Madrid player Altintop thinks Manchester City’s time is now.

“I think that they are the favourite,” Altintop has said. “Pep Guardiola has won every trophy except this one with them, so for him it will be extra special.

“He was always criticised for not winning the Champions League, and maybe he deserves it this season. They are favourites, or at least one of the two favourites!
