Thomas Tuchel lauds ‘brave’ Chelsea as they hand out Liverpool a 1-0 defeat in the Premier League
Chelsea picked up three huge points in the race for top four as they defeated Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League on Thursday night. This is the first victory for Chelsea at Anfield in the league since the 2014 season.

Boss Thomas Tuchel is extremely pleased with his side after they put on a comprehensive performance to dominate the defending champions. Liverpool hardly had any real chance to score as they could manage only weak attempt on goal.
Completely outplayed at home the Liverpool Reds need to recuperate immediately if they are to stand any chance of securing European football for next season. Thomas Tuchel once again stresses that although it’s an excellent victory for Chelsea they must not be complacent in their hunt for a top four finish.
Chelsea will be facing Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton next which promises to be a tough match. One advantage for Chelsea at the momentis that they will have a run against their Direct opponents and this gives them the opportunity to get a lead. Next week’s clash against Everton will be crucial for their top four aspirations.
“It was a very good team performance. They ask you a lot of questions and we need to have the answers.
“Everyone was very brave and everyone was sharp. It is a six-point game because the others lose. The race is on, there are still 11 games to go.
