In an interview on the ‘Today’ show Tiger Woods revealed how his daughter does not like the sport of golf and has no plans to pursue it in any way or form. His daughter Sam Alexis Woods has appeared alongside the GOAT in many tournaments on the greens. 

She has either supported him from the sidelines or even caddied for him in the PNC Championship last December in Florida. However, despite encouraging and supporting his dad, she has “a negative connotation to it,” stemming from Woods’ frequent leaves during her childhood.

Tiger Woods reveals how he had to go for weeks and even months away from his daughter during her childhood due to tournaments and calls. He believes this has led to her negative view of the sport. He expressed how he’s pursuing a relationship with her daughter Sam away from the greens.

Woods had his eldest child Sam Alexis Woods with his ex-wife Elin Nordegren and the family later welcomed their second child Charlie Woods. While Woods and Sam practice and talk about golf all the time, the relationship between him and his daughter differs.

He added, “We developed our own relationship” that does not involve golf. Recalling a past memory, Woods said he once tried to make Sam hold a golf club in her but her baby hands were too small to hold them. Regardless, of the differences, the GOAT treasures and loves both his children.

While talking on the ‘Today’ show with Carson Daly, Tiger Woods revealed the meaning behind his new logo for his apparel brand Sun Day Red. The 15 stripes in the tiger logo described as “nice and clean” represent the major championships he won. Woods also added that he plans to ruin the logo by winning his 16 championship trophy in the future.

Currently, the GOAT is making rounds to promote his clothing brand, and he not only landed on the ‘Today’ show but also on ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’. After explaining why his clothing brand is called Sun Day Red, the duo shared a hearty laugh following some memes of Woods shaking hands with a tree.

Fallon talked about how his shaking hands with someone behind the tree went viral as a meme on the internet. The laughter ended with Jimmy Fallon sharing three of his favorite memes and Woods laughing as he explained the situation he was in at that time.
