WWE surprised the wrestling world with yet another collaboration with TNA. Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace made an appearance on the latest episode of NXT. She was announced as the challenger for Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground and will compete for the NXT Women’s Championship.

The 28-year-old took to X after her segment. The TNA star had made a post thanking the WWE Universe after her appearance at the Royal Rumble in January. In the same post, she mentioned that it was not the last of TNA one would see. She reposted that tweet after NXT and mentioned how she had told everyone so.

Roxanne Perez cut a promo on the latest episode of NXT. She claimed that it was disrespectful for her to find out about her next challenger in this manner. She was then interrupted by Ava Raine. The NXT GM told the 22-year-old that she was a great champion. However, she may not be a champion after her next defense.

This led to Jordynne Grace making a surprise appearance at the show. The TNA Knockouts Champion reminded everyone of her Royal Rumble appearance. She appreciated Perez for building her name in NXT and compared how she had done the same in TNA. Now, she was ready to challenge her for the NXT Women’s Champion and would be leaving Las Vegas as a double champion.

WWE Stars expected to compete in TNA following Jordynne Grace’s NXT appearance

Jordynne Grace‘s appearance at NXT this week marked her second appearance in WWE. Further, she is already scheduled for two more appearances for the Stamford-based company. Not only will she compete at the upcoming NXT PPV, but she will also face Stevie Turner on the show next week.

According to a report by the PWInsider, this is simply the beginning of a partnership between the two companies. WWE officials backstage believe that there is bound to be some representation of NXT stars on future TNA shows as well.

There are no details yet as to the number of appearances when they will take place, or if they will extend to any stars beyond Perez. With TNA’s anniversary coming up next month, it would be a perfect time to spice up their show with stars from WWE.
