Tokyo Olympics: Men’s Beach Volleyball Latvia vs Mexico Live Stream: Preview and Prediction
Table topper Latvia, comprising of London Olympics bronze medalist Mārtiņš Pļaviņš and Točs will go up against Gaxiola and Rubio of Mexico, the bottom placed team, in a preliminary Pool B encounter at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
Latvia vs Mexico Match Preview
Latvia, with two wins in as many matches, sits pretty at the top of the table. While they were awarded the first match against Czech Republic due to COVID-19 regulations, the Latvians triumphed the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) 2-1 (13-21, 21-19, 15-11) in their previous encounter.
On the other hand, Mexico is themselves to blame for currently occupying the last place in the group. Both the previous matches were within their reach and they could have won both, but Mexicans’ inability to close out the games have hurt them badly. They have lost both their matches by an identical scoreline of 1-2 against ROC (26-24, 15-21, 16-18) and the Czech Republic (21-17, 16-21, 14-16).

Latvia vs Mexico Match Prediction
Mexico would be kicking themselves to find in a such a spot and would be eager to turn the tables on Latvia. If Mexico wins, it will change the whole complexion of the group. However, what Mexico needs is a straight set victory, because it is really possible in this group that the difference between the teams come down to the ratio of sets won to sets lost. Going by mere gut feeling, Mexico is going to win against Latvia 2-0 and making the Pool B really competitive.
