Tokyo Olympics: Men’s Volleyball Brazil vs France Live Stream: Preview and Prediction
Defending Olympic champions Brazil will lock horns with France in a crucial preliminary Pool B match of men’s volleyball at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. While Brazil are already through to the quarterfinals, France would like to cement their spot with a win.
Brazil vs France Match Preview
Brazil showcased why they are the current Olympic champions by first trouncing Tunisia 3-0 and then edging past Argentina 3-2 in their first two matches. But their momentum got a severe jolt after facing a crushing straight set loss 0-3 against Russian Olympic Committee (ROC). However, champions always bounce back and that’s what Brazil did, outclassing USA 3-1 in their fourth match. With 8 points from 4 matches, Brazil has already made it to the last-eight stage.
On the other hand, France has two wins and as many losses in four matches and with 7 points, they currently are placed at third spot in Pool B. France had a horrible start to the tournament, being squashed away by USA 0-3. They came back strongly by outclassing Tunisia in straight sets 3-0, before again losing out, albeit in a close contest, to Argentina 2-3. But France made more than of two losses by upsetting table toppers ROC 3-1.

France doesn’t necessarily need a win, merely pushing the match into the last set will be enough for them, as this will fetch them one point and will bring their total to 8 points, which will be enough to qualify for the quarterfinals. Brazil will win this match, though France will force the contest into a decider, and in the process clinch the last-eight berth. So Brazil is winning this match 3-2.
