LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were both drafted into the NBA in 2003. James was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the number one pick, while Wade was picked by the Miami Heat as the number five pick.

Wade led his team to a championship in 2006 and was named the Finals MVP. Meanwhile, James carried his team to the NBA Finals in the following year. The two joined forces when James decided to join the Heat in 2010.

During their time together, they achieved a lot of success and created some memorable moments. One such moment was a dunk celebration where Wade lobbed the ball to James and celebrated while the latter was still in the air. The iconic photo is one of the most popular photos in the NBA.

Ex-NFL star Tom Brady posted a photo of his two sons recreating the James-Wade dunk in a swimming pool. Brady tagged the two former champions in his Instagram story and had a question for them. He wrote:

Tom Brady was seen celebrating his 49th birthday on a yacht alongside friends and family. He and his three children took the time to enjoy some water sports and saw the perfect opportunity to recreate the iconic dunk.

When James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade in Miami, they took the NBA world by storm. They led their team to four straight NBA Finals in four years and won back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. James left the Heat in 2014 due to some unfinished business in Cleveland. The two remain close friends till today and sometimes even work out together.

Brady posted several photos from the birthday party on the luxurious yacht. However, it is the photo of his two sons that quickly went viral across social media.

Fans took to social media to react to the recreation of the iconic dunk.

Fans were left impressed by Brady’s sons and their dunk celebration. His two sons, who are aged 18 and 16 years old, sure did take many NBA fans down memory lane.

LeBron James has often been compared to Brady in terms of longevity and sustained greatness. The King is currently enjoying his offseason as he gets ready to play in his 24th season in the NBA.

Both players seemed to have enjoyed what Brady’s sons had to show. James signed with the Philadelphia 76ers on a two-year deal and, hence, confirmed that he will play 25 seasons in the NBA.

James is heading into the new season with championship aspirations after joining forces with Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Jaylen Brown in Philly. The current 76ers starting five is arguably the most dominant in the NBA today. Meanwhile, Wade called time on his career after the 2018-19 campaign and has taken up a role as a broadcaster.
