#DIY, comprising Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, has been involved in a social media feud with Randy Orton over the past few weeks. They’ve tried to sneak up on The Viper and hit him with his own move, the RKO. However, it has never turned out well for them. This time, they decided to switch up their target and focus on Kevin Owens instead.

The WWE Tag Team Champions posted a video on social media showcasing their hilarious interaction with Owens. Orton was not present backstage on the latest episode of SmackDown, as he had previously been taken out by The Bloodline. Ciampa claimed that he didn’t appear because he was scared of them. Thus, he was going to go after his friend to send a message to The Apex Predator.

Tommaso Ciampa screamed and ran towards Owens. However, he was stopped in his tracks by The Prizefighter. The former Universal Champion accused him of trying to RKO him, claiming that he had seen the videos with Orton before and thus knew what was going on.

The former ROH Champion was very upset that #DIY was going after him simply because Orton wasn’t there this week. He reminded them that he had a tough few weeks due to his mom’s health. Gargano also joined in on condemning Ciampa’s actions. Lastly, the Canadian advised him that he should not scream beforehand if he was on his way to surprise someone. Owens then smacked him in the nuts to show him how it’s done.

Kevin Owens likely to miss multiple weeks of WWE programming following beatdown by The Bloodline

The latest episode of SmackDown featured The Bloodline attacking yet another ally of Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens. Tama Tonga horse-collared him with a steel chair and sent him crashing into the ringpost. This has stranded The American Nightmare in his fight against the Samoan faction.

The former Universal Champion likely wanted some time off TV due to his mother’s health issues. He was showing up for the past few weeks simply because his mother would’ve wanted him to do so, regardless of what was going on with her. Owens recently announced that she was well on her way to a complete recovery

WWE is likely booking an angle where Rhodes has to take on the Bloodline at SummerSlam all by himself. Thus, it would make sense to take out Kevin Owens and Randy Orton and have them not appear on WWE TV for a while. Furthermore, all this could lead to the return of Roman Reigns when the WWE Undisputed Champion gets heavily outnumbered.
