Here is the list of Top 3 superstars who got betrayed by Paul Heyman
#3 CM Punk-
On June 24, 2013, in Raw Episode, CM Punk, and Heyman both declared that they were best friends. The segment had seen the two embrace each other in the middle of the ring. They both, as a duo, have accomplished many titles in their tenure together. But In 2013, CM Punk decided to walk into his own path and that infuriated Paul Heyman. The main event of the Money in the Bank 2013 saw an almost winning CM Punk got his chance buried by a surprise attack on him by Heyman. Following this betrayal, these two got into a long feud that involved some brutal attacks on each other with Kendo Sticks.
#2 Brock Lesnar-
Brock Lesnar and Heyman formed an iconic duo to achieve some unimaginable feats in WWE. ‘The Beast Incarnate’, Brock Lesnar with his physical prowess, and Heyman with his superiority over promo cutting skills have formed a perfect unbeatable force. But their chemistry got a big setback when in a 2002 Survivor Series match between Big Show and Brock Lesnar, the sudden betrayal by Paul Heyman had caused Brock the match. From then their mismatched rivalry continued. But later by attacking Kurt Angle, they both found themselves on the same page.
#1 Roman Reigns-
The current undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns aligned with Paul Heyman two days prior to Payback 2020 where Reigns had regained his Universal Championship title. Since then, there has been no looking back for this duo as this duo uprooted many challenges from other top-tier superstars in WWE. Gradually the team included two of Roman’s cousins to form ‘The Bloodline’.
But a returning Brock Lesnar created some growing tension between Reigns and Paul Heyman. In the 17th December Smackdown episode, Roman accused Heyman of betrayal as the latter did not correctly inform Reigns about Lesnar’s movements. Paul could not answer properly Roman’s questions and be thereby unable to defend himself. The segment ends with Roman attacking Heyman Brutally but Brock came at the last moment to save him.
As the things stand in SmackDown, it is highly possible to happen a reunion between Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. A teamed-up Brock and Heyman confronting ‘The Bloodline’ sounds to be an epic feud.
