Both teams were looking for a spot in the top 4. For Mumbai Indians, it was even harder as they had to win the game with a considerable margin to go past RR in the net run-rate.
Rajasthan Royals put on a mammoth 189-run total in the first innings. Sanju Samson played a sensational 74-run knock off 47 balls. What followed was a sensational knock from Corey Anderson, who played scored 95 runs off just 44 balls. His knock helped Mumbai chase down the total in just 14.4 overs, thereby taking them through to the playoffs.
IPL 2017: MI vs RCB, 12th match
The 12th match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2017 edition will always be etched in the minds of MI fans, courtesy a sensational knock from BIG man, Kieron Pollard.

IPL 2017: GL vs MI, 35th Match
A fighting 48-run knock from Ishan Kishan and a crucial cameo from Andrew Tye late in the innings took Gujarat Lions to 153 runs in 20 overs.
With just 27 needed in 23 balls and six wickets in hand, Mumbai Indians were cruising to a comfortable victory. However, what followed was a superb display of fast bowling. The game, eventually, resulted in a tie.

IPL 2017 final: MI vs RPS
RPS bowlers were brilliant on the big day. They restricted Mumbai Indians to just 129 runs in the final. Krunal Pandya played a fighting knock of 47 runs off 38 balls.
In pursuit of the total, Steve Smith played a gem of an innings and almost took his team home. Smith scored 51 but held out in the final over off Mitchell Jhonson. Mumbai eventually won the game by 1 run.
