One notable feature of every ATP star is their unrelenting determination to succeed in the sport despite setbacks. However, would they have chosen another career if tennis had not worked out? Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, and Jannik Sinner share which another career away from tennis they would love.

In a video shared by ATP on X (formerly known as Twitter), Sinner was the first to have an answer to which job he would do if he wasn’t a tennis player. Surprisingly, the Italian said he would like to cook but doesn’t like cleaning.

I like to cook, but I don't like cleaning.
Jannik Sinner said

Australian ace Alex de Minaur admitted he would like to be a lawyer, as he loves the American legal drama series Suits.

That's probably got a lot to do with 'Suits' watching 'Suits'.

Carlos Alcaraz also took the de Minaur way, hinting to be a lawyer.

Ah 'Suits'! Its the same.

Djokovic revealed he would like to be involved in some form of history. The Serbian made history by winning his 24th Grand Slam and 7 Nitto ATP Finals last year.

I would just be involved in some shape or form in history.

Meanwhile, Stefanos Tsitsipas claimed he would have a career path in cinematography while American Sebastian Korda chose to be an astronaut. This is coming at a good time as the Italian Open in Rome begins.

Novak Djokovic returns to the tour with high hopes to win his first title of the season

Except for Alcaraz and Sinner, who have pulled due to injury, other players are fully fit to play at Foro Italico. Also, Novak Djokovic returns to the tour after being away for a month. The Serbian would compete in Rome, his second clay tournament after the Monte Carlo Masters. He reached the semifinals in Monte Carlo but eventually lost to Norwegian Casper Ruud.

In Rome, Djokovic will begin his campaign against Russian Roman Safiullin or a qualifier in the second round after earning a first-round bye. The 36-year-old is in search of his first title of the season. He will aim to turn his fortune in Rome as he boasts six titles in the Italian capital.

With the likes of Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz already out of the tournament, the Serbian stands a great chance to lift the title. But, he will have to do well not to lose against other low-ranking players.
