Torrie Wilson, one of WWE’s most stunning divas of her era, has finally become a mother via surrogacy at 50. She made an Instagram post with her baby daughter, Poppi Wilson Tupper, wrapped in her arms. The WWE Hall of Famer thanked the surrogate mom by calling her an angel. The delivery happened a few months ago. Wilson added that she wasn’t sure if she’d ever be able to call herself a “mommy.”

Brimming with emotions and gratitude, the former Miss Galaxy said it felt to her as if she slid onto the subway train just as the doors were closing. At last, she gave her partner, Justin Cupper, a shoutout as well for making her dream come true. Modern-day wrestling fans might not be familiar with the kind of stature she had back in the day.

Even after not holding the women’s title in WWE, ‘The Billion Dollar Princess’ was instrumental in augmenting the mainstream appeal of the wrestling juggernaut. Wilson appeared on the covers of major magazines like FHM, Playboy, and fitness publications, which brought WWE attention from non-wrestling audiences. Her 2003 Playboy issue with Sable became one of the highest-selling WWE-associated magazine releases.

Speaking of Sable, she had a Bikini Challenge with Wilson at the 2003 Judgment Day PLE. It remains one of the most downloaded matches in the history of WWE.com. Those two women could boast of that achievement even though it wouldn’t appeal to a hardcore wrestling fan.

However, as Wilson quipped during her Hall of Fame induction speech in 2023, she was grateful to the fans for letting her be a part of their puberty.

Torrie Wilson reveals what it’d take for her to wrestle again in WWE

Following a history of recurring back issues, Torrie Wilson had to bid adieu to WWE in May 2008. Even though she competed in a Battle Royal at WrestleMania the very next year, it was a one-off deal. She has made several appearances on anniversary-special WWE shows like Raw25 in 2018 and the Raw Reunion in 2021.

She also entered the women’s Royal Rumble match in 2021, but her stay in the ring was pretty short-lived. She last appeared on WWE television in 2024 for the WWE Draft as one of the guest announcers. But will she ever wrestle again now that she’s in her 50s?

In an interview with SHAK Wrestling, the fitness instructor said that for anyone who’s been in the wrestling business, the door is never closed for them to go back. So when it comes to Wilson, thinking if she has one more WWE match left in her, she indeed does. However, only upon the condition that something pretty interesting would be presented to her.

I feel like if you’ve ever been in wrestling, the door is never completely closed. But people ask me a lot, like, ‘do you have another match in you?’, and I’m like, ‘Yes, of course.’ Like, if something awesome came along, how would I not have that in me?

The wrestling icon admitted that it’d involve more preparation from her end if she ever had to go wrestle again. Wilson, while maintaining interest in potentially wrestling again, added that she likes golfing and playing tennis. She also mentioned that her back issues are sadly going nowhere, so she needs to ease up a bit on her body.

Torrie Wilson is mighty impressed with Dominik Mysterio’s WWE rise

In the aforementioned conversation, Torrie Wilson weighed in on one of WWE’s fastest-rising stars in Dominik Mysterio. The former Vince’s Devils member recalled the days when ‘Dom’ used to come to WWE shows with his father, Rey Mysterio, being a little boy with his sister, Aliyah. Wilson added that the Judgment Day member was the cutest back there, whom everyone just wanted to squeeze.

A picture of ‘Dom’ and Wilson adorably hugging each other often surfaces on social media every now and then. Coming on to his growth as a performer, Wilson was just blown away by it. For someone who used to be a calm and reserved boy to transform himself into the on-screen egotistical schmuck that he is today, Mysterio’s WWE journey has been one for the highlight reels.

The biggest compliment that ‘Dirty Dom’ could’ve gotten out of Torrie Wilson was her saying that he does indeed remind her of the late great Eddie Guerrero. Speaking of the latter, Rey Mysterio recently penned a heartfelt note for his best friend in light of Guerrero’s 20th passing anniversary. ‘The Master of 619’ wished Eddie were alive to see Dom’s rising WWE career with his own eyes.
