Tottenham Hotspur, Ange Postecoglou and all of the club’s players have come under criticism on social media for repeating the ‘history’ of the club. Even though many still mock Spurs for their inability to claim silverware, a new record has further intensified trolls and censure on social media.
The club embarrassingly lost 3-2 to Brighton despite taking a 2-0 lead before half-time. A valiant comeback from the hosts meant that Tottenham became the first-ever side to lose ten games after leading by two goals in the Premier League.
The manager also said that his side ‘accepted’ their fate in the second half and paid the price. He pointed to how his men lacked intensity, and he and made no effort to conceal his disappointment and frustration. The club were on a five-game winning streak ahead of Sunday and suffered their third loss of the season in the League.
Spurs have managed to accumulate just ten points from their first seven League outings, much to the disappointment of many on social media.

Spurs play their next League game against West Ham United after the international break. Postecoglou has urged players to reflect on what went wrong against Brighton and to come back stronger following the break. The club haven’t scored less than two goals in any of their last six games and are constantly being let down by their defense. Spurs have conceded a total of eight goals this season in the PL.
