‘Dashing’ Travis Kelce sports all-white look for his acting debut as girlfriend Taylor Swift performs in Paris

Travis Kelce landed his first acting job. The Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro Tight End has bagged an undisclosed role in horror master Ryan Murphy‘s next FX project, ‘Grotesquerie.’

Kelce will star opposite some of Murphy’s favorite people from his other works, including Emmy winner Niecy Nash-Betts from ‘Dahmer,’ Courtney B. Vance from ‘Lovecraft Country,’ and Oscar nominee Lesley Manville from ‘Phantom Thread.’ Reports claim that it will be set in the extended universe of Murphy’s ‘The American Horror Story‘ series.

On Wednesday, Nash-Betts shared a video on Instagram announcing her co-star Travis Kelce joining the team.

It seems the first photos from the sets of Grotesquerie surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). An account titled @bestgug posted three pictures of Travis Kelce wearing all whites. 

Nash-Betts also shared a video where the make-up crew finished their touchup on Taylor Swift‘s beau.

Can Travis Kelce be a full-time actor after he retires from football?

While his older brother, Jason Kelce, wanted to stick with football even after hanging up his boots, Travis didn’t have to follow in his footsteps. He can very well become a TV star on his own if he impresses the audience with Murphy’s show.

The younger Kelce has had experience facing the camera. Last year, the 34-year-old hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live as his entire family watched him from the stands. 

He even appeared on one episode of the Showtime series Moonbase 8 which had stars like Fred Armisen, Tim Heidecker, and John C. Reilly, per IMDB.

The highest-paid tight end of all time first appeared on TV in a reality dating show called Catching Kelce. Through this show, he met and later fell in love with his ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole.

Before signing up for the horror acting gig, Kelce tried his hand at producing. He was part of the crew that created the indie film My Dead Friend Zoe, which premiered at SXSW.

Travis Kelce has also signed up for another reality show named ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?‘, the remastered version of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?’ He met with the production team and the actors in LA last month before Coachella.
