Travis Kelce is on top of the world. The 2-time Super Bowl champion is currently looking to defend the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl ring. He is also rumored to be dating one of the biggest stars in the world, Taylor Swift. Amidst this, the New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers took a shot at the Chiefs tight end by calling him “Mr. Pfizer” for endorsing COVID-19 vaccines. And now, Kelce has responded to Rodgers’ comments and also took a subtle dig at the Jets QB’s anti-vaccine stats.
“I thought it was pretty good,” Kelce said with a laugh in a recent press conference, referring to Rodgers calling him Mr. Pfizer. “I mean, with the stache right now I look like a guy named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into the vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer vs. the Johnson and Johnson family over there.” Kelce was referring to the Jets owner, Woody Johnson, who is also an heir to the Johnson & Johnson company.
During Tuesday’s episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers made an appearance and talked about the Jets’ week 4 loss against Kelce and the Chiefs. While talking about the “moral victory” in the match, Rodgers took a shot at Kelce by saying, “‘Mr. Pfizer,’ we shut him down. He didn’t have a crazy impact game.”
The 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers referred to Kelce as Mr. Pfizer since the Chiefs tight end has some commercials for the pharmaceutical giant while promoting COVID-19 and flu vaccines.

Travis Kelce doubles down on vaccine stance amidst tussle with Aaron Rodgers
While addressing the new nickname given by Aaron Rodgers, Travis Kelce said that he is 1000% comfortable with the nickname and doubled down on his partnership with Pfizer to endorse vaccines.

“Once I got the vaccine — I got it because of keeping myself safe, keeping my family safe, the people in this building. So yeah, I stand by it one thousand percent. Fully comfortable with him calling me Mr. Pfizer,” he said.
That looked like a shot at the known anti-vaxxer Aaron Rodgers, who didn’t get the vaccine during COVID-19 times. Or that could’ve been simply his opinion about getting vaccinated.
Nonetheless, Kelce has made his stance clear on vaccinations and has said he is 1000% comfortable with his new nickname. He would now be focused on the Minnesota Vikings, who the Chiefs are scheduled to face in their week 5 matchup on Sunday.
