Over the past few weeks, WWE has seen several celebrities from other sports show up on their programming. The latest episode of SmackDown featured another appearance from popular boxer Terence Crawford. Triple H later took to X to thank the 36-year-old for appearing on WWE TV.
The Cerebral Assassin posted a photo of himself alongside Terence Crawford and was grateful for him taking the time to bring world championship power to the blue brand. Furthermore, He wished him all the best for his fight next weekend in Los Angeles against Israil Madrimov.
Crawford was also present on last week’s episode of SmackDown, as these two episodes were shot consecutively on July 19th due to WWE’s tour of Japan. Last week’s show featured A-Town Down Under launching a 2-on-1 attack on Cody Rhodes. The boxer helped the American Nightmare even the odds by handing him a steel chair.
Due to this, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller were looking for an apology from him for these actions. However, he simply knocked out the former United States Champion as the Australian ran away.
Apart from Crawford, the blue brand also witnessed appearances from Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton. The 24-year-old Point Guard was there to help Logan Paul in his Money in the Bank triple-threat qualifier against LA Knight and Santos Escobar. However, the Knicks player stopped this from happening and ensured that the Megastar qualified.
Triple H discusses if his daughters would ever work in WWE
The McMahon family is inseparable from professional wrestling. They have been involved in the industry for several generations now, and fans wonder if the trend will continue with the children of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The Billion Dollar Princess had already revealed in 2021 that her oldest daughter, Aurora, had started in-ring training to become a professional wrestler.
In an interview with Daily Mail, The King of Kings gave an update on the situation. He said that Aurora had currently shifted her focus from being an in-ring worker to going to college and doing her own thing. However, one never knew where life would take her.
If any of my kids decided to make an attempt to get in WWE, which is a lot of hard work, I would be a 100% behind them, but that’s up to them and where they want to go with their lives. I just support them with whatever they do.Triple H with The Daily Mail
Triple H said that if any of his daughters wanted to enter the field of WWE, he would always be fully behind them. However, he still left it up to figure out what they wanted to do in life. All he knew was that it was his job to support them with whatever they did.
