WWE often has mainstream celebrities present in the crowd for their PLEs. At Bad Blood, Quavo, Lil Baby, and Metro Boomin’ all looked on from the first row. Furthermore, wrestling legends of the past, such as Booker T, Scott Steiner, Mickie James, and many more, showed up to cheer on their favorite superstars. However, someone who did a lot more than watch from the crowd was Bill Goldberg.

During the Bad Blood post-show press conference, Triple H was asked to comment on the possibility of the 57-year-old wrestling for the WWE once again. The WWE CCO did not give a direct reply but didn’t rule out the possibility. The WCW legend wrestled his last match for WWE nearly two and a half years ago when he lost to Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber 2022.

If the Hall of Famer does step back into the squared circle, there is no doubt that fans would most want him to face off against Gunther. The World Heavyweight Champion obliterated him on the microphone with his insults. The two almost had a physical alteration as well. Goldberg had previously lambasted WWE for not giving him a retirement match. If he wants to hang up his boots after one last match, the Ring General just might be the perfect opponent for him.

Goldberg has been a huge draw for WWE at their Saudi shows, facing off against huge names like The Undertaker, Bobby Lashley, and Roman Reigns. If he does compete at the upcoming Crown Jewel PLE, it likely won’t be against Gunther. The Austrian wrestler will be busy competing for the Crown Jewel Championship at that show unless some major title change occurs in the next four weeks.

Triple H addresses criticism of racism against him at Bad Blood post-show press conference

There has been a growing sentiment on social media against Triple H, calling him biased against wrestlers of color. These allegations flared up once again when netizens commented that there were no black wrestlers in action at the show. The Cerebral Assassin was asked about this issue at the Bad Blood post-show conference.

The King of Kings said that he gave a fair opportunity to everyone. He did not see a wrestler’s color or nationality. He only saw their talent and how they could handle the stories being given to them. There was also no discrimination of gender when it came to a show’s main event. The most important storyline/match was the one that took place at the end of the night.

Everybody gets the opportunity. I don’t see the difference in anybody. I don’t see the color. I don’t see the nationality. I don’t see any of it. I just see talent. I don’t see the difference between men and women. We tell stories with those talent. How they can handle those stories and how they can represent those stories and how we can bring those stories forward.

These allegations seem to be mostly baseless. Wrestlers like Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair have appeared on nearly every PLE this year. Even when they did not have a match at Bad Blood, the Big 3 were announced to be the hosts of the PLE and had hilarious segments throughout the show. Furthermore, the show featured several Hispanic and Polynesian wrestlers throughout the event.
