Paul “Triple H” Levesque visited the White House this past Thursday to partake in a POTUS Donald Trump-convened meeting for signing an executive order to bring back the Presidential Fitness Test. The order also seeks to establish a President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. The WWE Chief Content Officer is also included in that panel, handpicked by Mr. Trump.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity, Levesque took to X. He wrote that physical fitness has been a part of his life from a young age, and it helped him support his family beyond his imagination. Honored by his inclusion in the president’s council, ‘The Game’ said it’s a vehicle to get young people active and healthy. It didn’t take long for Levesque’s better half, Stephanie McMahon, to come up with a hearty reply.

She quoted her husband’s post by saying that Levesque had been talking about the president’s council on physical fitness since they got married two decades ago. The former WWE chairwoman thanked ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ for helping provide the opportunity for the success of the kids. For the unversed, the 14-time world champion’s entry into the White House was one for the cameras.

He walked into the building with his WWE theme song playing in the background. Hunter also did his iconic water-spitting gesture to garner headlines on social media. Moreover, President Trump formally introduced the WWE Hall of Famer as his friend and someone whom one doesn’t want to mess with. Levesque’s mother-in-law, Linda McMahon, is currently working as the US Secretary of Education under the Donald Trump administration.

Triple H hails the success of WWE: Unreal series

The WWE CCO has been hogging some limelight of late for various reasons, and the release of WWE: Unreal is one of them. The Netflix-backed series is an unprecedented look into the backstage machinery of WWE. The five-episode docuseries dives into the gorilla position, the writer’s room, and never-before-seen peeks into how superstars prepare themselves for performing in front of thousands of fans.

The online reception to it, as suggested by Triple H‘s post, has mostly been positive. Fans got their hands on something they hadn’t seen in the history of this business. While getting to know the ins and outs of it was fascinating to the masses, the pundits of the industry and other critics have continued arguing whether WWE went too far with breaking kayfabe.

There’s an unwritten rule to protect the business for the wrestlers they’re with. But breaking the fourth wall in such a capacity will certainly draw the ire of old-school legends. Take, for instance, Steve Austin, who told Ariel Helwani back in May that some magic should stay hidden. ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ compared the tell-all series to famous magician Harry Houdini, saying he wouldn’t want him to unveil his secrets. Instead, he’d rather want to figure it out by himself.

How did Triple H orchestrate John Cena’s WWE heel turn?

One of the most intriguing aspects of WWE: Unreal came to be Triple H’s planning of the entire John Cena heel turn. As evident from the following snippet in WWE: Unreal, ‘The Cerebral Assassin’ kept it extremely close to the vest.

Levesque informed WWE president Nick Khan about it, who was on board instantly. ‘The Game’ then told The Rock, and the latter was hooked as well. The former DX member handled it with utmost precision while pitching it to Cena, as the heel turn might affect his PR in the Hollywood industry.

‘The Franchise Player’ wasn’t worried about it, and they went ahead. Triple H recently posted on X how he was reacting in the gorilla while the heel turn segment was unfolding in real-time at the Elimination Chamber. Levesque was careful about the various camera angles and how to get them right.
