Even at 49, Trish Stratus is willing to take up the gauntlet. This week on SmackDown, the WWE HOF’er arrived to the aid of Tiffany Stratton, who was getting ragdolled by Nia Jax. Stratton first went after Candice LeRae but got blasted in the corner by Jax. Later on, during a backstage segment, Trish offered to team up with Tiffany.

The duo will take on LeRae and Jax in a tag team match at the Elimination Chamber. Recapping her topsy-turvy night from D.C., Stratus took to X. She posted a picture from last year’s Money in the Bank where the legendary female grappler was abruptly interrupted by the reigning WWE Women’s Champion.

Trish compared it to her latest SmackDown interaction with Stratton in a ‘How it started vs. How it’s going’ photo montage. The erstwhile Canada’s Got Talent judge claimed that it’s “Trishy” and “Tiffy” time. The prospect of both women teaming up is quite fascinating. It could even be deemed as two generations coming together to combat a common enemy.

For Stratus, it’s going to be a homecoming in Toronto on March 1. The Quintessential WWE Diva is celebrating 25 years in this business. The former Women’s Champion kicked it off with a surprise appearance in the 30-woman Royal Rumble match earlier this month.

She lasted for about 13 minutes before Nia Jax threw her out. Trish will try to get her pound of flesh on The Irresistible Force when they duke it out in a couple of weeks. Stratus is all set to get her dream team with Stratton up and running. However, only time will tell if there’s a happy ending in the cards or not.

Does Trish Stratus have one more singles match left in her?

Dating back to September 2023, Trish Stratus had her previous singles match in WWE. She lost to Becky Lynch in a grueling steel cage slugfest. When could Canada’s Greatest Export end up in her next one-on-one encounter, which might very well be her last?

A recent report from Fightful related that the Canuck is often brought up in WWE’s creative meetings. Her upcoming tag team showdown at the Elimination Chamber might not be the last time she’d grace the squared circle in 2025.

In fact, with WrestleMania 41 just around the corner, Stratus may end up on its card. There are rumblings of the Canuck potentially challenging Chelsea Green for the Women’s US title at The Show of Shows. After all, the recently introduced mid-card title is in dire need of a Mania-worthy rub to put it on the map.
