Recently, a popular X page called Out of Context Human Race shared a video featuring Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping’s bodyguards. In the brief clip, both guards were seen acknowledging each other. Controversial figure Tristan Tate quickly reacted to the video, which led him to express his opinion about Tom Aspinall.

Interestingly, one of the netizens responded to Tristan Tate’s comment about the bodyguards. As such, the X user claimed that the interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has the potential to defeat both guards at the same time. However, Tate dismissed this claim and provided his reasons for doing so.

With respect to Aspinall I wouldn’t bet on that, not at all. These guys won’t strike or go for submissions. Throat/Groin/Eyes. They’re trained killers not trained fighters, you think they train less than him? You think they aren’t constantly drilling and perfecting kill techniques? No. These are not the overweight nightclub heavies that “bodyguard celebrities”. They are an entirely different class of human.

It has been over a week since the conversation between Tate and the random X user occurred. However, it resurfaced following Tate’s recent visit to a UFC pay-per-view event (UFC 313). Notably, both of the Tate brothers returned to the United States after a two-year travel ban was lifted by Romanian prosecutors. Upon their arrival back in their home country, they visited several places, including the recent UFC event.

In recent years, both Tristan Tate and his brother Andrew Tate have become involved in various illicit activities, leading them to constantly juggle multiple criminal investigations. However, given their background as professional kickboxers, they are not hesitant to discuss topics related to combat sports. A recent example of this was Tristan’s opinion on Aspinall, where he freely shared his thoughts.

During Jon Jones’ reign as the UFC heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall became the interim champion at UFC 295. In his pursuit of this title, the British MMA fighter defeated Sergei Pavlovich. However, Jones showed little interest in facing Aspinall to unify their UFC heavyweight titles. As a result, a heated feud began between these two exciting fighters in the 265 lbs division.

Amid that, Jones notably expressed his desire to face off against prominent superstars like Alex Pereira, who was then the champion of the UFC light heavyweight division. At UFC 313, Pereira lost his title and was unable to defend his 205 lbs crown. Following this loss, Aspinall swiftly seized the opportunity to call out Jones once more.

Jon, there’s only one thing to do. Sign the contract and let’s get a date going. I know we saw last night Dana White was talking, everything is now done on Jon’s side and the UFC now have to find a date and a venue, place, location, so we’re waiting for that. We’ve got some good news coming soon, hopefully.

Interestingly, Jones was only willing to unify his title against Aspinall if he received adequate compensation. Meanwhile, UFC executives, particularly CEO Dana White, have consistently stated that Jones will defend his heavyweight championship against Aspinall next. It will be interesting to see how soon they officially announce this matchup.
