The Ring Magazine was one of the first printed publications dedicated to boxing, first released in 1922. Initially, it covered both boxing and wrestling, but it later became exclusively focused on boxing. Over the years, The Ring Magazine has gained significance by awarding titles to world champions as well as recognizing prospects of the year, among other honors. Notably, prior to Alalshikh, Golden Boy Promotions managed The Ring Magazine.
