Two Championship matches announced for WWE Raw

WWE Women's Tag Team Championship match

The upcoming episode of WWE Raw will feature two Championship matches – one each for the men’s and the women’s tag team divisions. The women’s tag team match is quite a surprising booking.

The current Champions – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, were involved in a feud with Natalya and Tamina. They were facing each other week after week on Raw. It seemed like Natalya and Tamina would get a title match, but surprisingly Lana and Naomi have gotten the opportunity.

This will be Lana and Naomi’s second shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, and this time the duo seem confident to capture the titles.

AJ Styles and Omos will defend the WWE Raw Tag Team titles

Styles and Omos captured the WWE Raw Tag Team titles at Wrestlemania 37. This will be their first appearance on Raw, since capturing the titles. They will de defending their titles against former Champions – Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. This could be The New Day’s final chance to recapture the titles.

Apart from these two matches, two other segments have been announced for the show too:

  • The latest development between Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville
  • WWE Champion faces either Drew McIntyre or Braun Strowman

From the recent episodes we can also expect to see the latest unlikely Tag team – Randy Orton and Riddle to be in action too.
