Tyreek Hill will once again sit on his couch in his Miami home and watch his former team, the Kansas City Chiefs, play in their third Super Bowl without him. Under normal circumstances, Hill wouldn’t think twice about showing his undying support for Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, but his feelings remain conflicted.
“Cheetah” left the Chiefs after the 2021 season and moved to the Miami Dolphins to play alongside Tua Tagovailoa. The pair led the Dolphins to consecutive playoff appearances during the first two campaigns, but the 2024 season went horribly wrong due to Tua’s concussion. They finished with an 8-9 record, failing to qualify for the postseason.
Hill claimed it was the worst season of his career and rumors floated that he wanted to leave, but the chatter has died down lately. While the Chiefs defeated the Texans and the Bills, the 30-year-old immersed himself in Fortnite and enjoyed time with his family.
Complex Sports spoke with Hill and was asked the 8x Pro Bowler, which team he would support between the Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles during Super Bowl LIX.
Hill is in the same boat as Jason Kelce. The Eagles legend wants to support his ex-team, but at the same time wishes the best for his brother at the Chiefs.
Tyreek Hill is staying put in Miami
2024 didn’t go according to plan, and Hill was upset. That’s the natural reaction, but the Dolphins fans can rest easy because the All-Pro wideout seems settled in South Beach. With his new baby on the way, it’s smart to stay with the Dolphins. Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, dismissed any rumors of his client leaving for another team.
Hill recently posted a tweet, more or less confirming his stay. “I will come back stronger & faster,” Hill wrote.

Hill’s 2024 season was undeniably his worst. He caught 81 passes for 959 yards and scored 6 touchdowns.
