Usain Bolt, who is widely known as the world’s fastest man, often gets challenged for his legendary sprint records. This time, it was challenged by former NFL star tight end Shannon Sharpe, who claimed to believe that if there’s a 40-yard dash race between the legendary sprinter and NFL ‘Cheetah’ Tyreek Hill, the latter would come out with a triumph.
Sharpe made the comparison between two of the fastest athletes during his Night Cap show, arguing that if Bolt was still training, then he could easily defeat the NFL star wide receiver. But since he retired six years ago and is close to his 40s, Hill is still in the prime of his career.
However, the legendary sprinter instantly strikes back against Sharpe’s claim on X arguing that despite the age factor and Bolt’s being touch of touch, the Miami Dolphins’ star can never defeat him, not even in another universe.
Till now, Hill had kept himself out of this debate but seeing Bolt’s blunt remark, the star receiver also joined the banter by calling the Jamaican sprinter an “old guy.”
Your all talk old guy , I’ll come to Jamaica to whoop you if I got to.responded Tyreek Hill on X
It’s been six years since Bolt’s retirement, yet he remains the fastest guy in the world who continues to take up the challenges. He has a legacy of eight Olympic gold medals with a 19.19 seconds record in the 200-meter and a 9.58 seconds record in the 100-meter dash.
Tyreek Hill’s $120 million deal loses top spot
In the offseason where the NFL teams are well rewarding their wide receivers, as he has been dethroned from being the highest-paid wide receiver with the new deals signed by Amon-Ra St. Brown and A.J. Brown.
Hill signed a four-year extension deal worth $120 million with an annual salary of $31.3 million two years ago. However, this turned out to be fake as to achieve this annual compensation, his final year salary was inflated to an unrealistic $45 million. The receiver is actually making $25 million on average per year.
While Hill’s contract not aging well, Justin Jefferson’s contract is expected to reset the market. This will make Hill’s next extension aim to set a new target.
