Tyreek Hill has many tough questions in his life as a football player and managed to answer all of them until a kid from Rochester threw a curve ball.

When Tyreek Hill decided to change the venue for his youth football training camp in Rochester, New York, he perhaps did not anticipate that he had to face a question so severe that he could face heavy repercussions. The star wide receiver had to pick between his former and current quarterbacks.

One doesn’t expect an early teen to come up and ask to choose between Patrick Mahomes and Tua Tagovailoa. May be during a press conference but not a youth camp.

On Saturday, Tyreek Hill continued his mission of educating young kids on the ways of football. Even though he has to face the music on a few occasions, the star wide receiver doesn’t shy away from encouraging them to ask questions.

He met his match. According to News8, reporter AJ Feldman who covered Hill’s venture at Monroe High School in Rochester witnessed a funny yet dire moment.

Patrick Mahomes or Tua [Tagovailoa]?
A kid walked up to the Super Bowl winner and asked him.

So, what did Tyreek Hill say? He preferred to use his Fifth Amendment and asserted he likes them both.

Tyreek Hill parted ways with some words of wisdom with the kids

Hill partners with ‘Soul Runner’ academy to host youth camps all over the country. He goes around and shares about his journey of how he went from a Division II college program to winning a Super Bowl and arguably the best receiver in the past decade.

Besides preaching, he also likes to get his hands and feet dirty, participating in 1 on 1 drill with kids and occasionally acting as a corner getting cooked.

Hills camps always draw a lot of youngsters who always have query-filled eyes which he never fails to answer. The 8 time Pro Bowler had something important to say this time around.

I am a regular person [just like you]. I wake up [and] I thank God, just like you thank God man. So, that’s really important man, like show these kids that it doesn’t matter who you are and where you are from you can make it… As long as you work hard and be passionate about what you do, your craft… Stay consistent.
Tyreek Hill said.

Tom Brady had similar-sounding words during his Patriots Hall of Fame induction speech earlier this week. Both were doubted but eventually, they proved hard work always pays off in the end.

However, unlike Brady who retired in 2023, Hill still has a long way to go before calling it quits. To do that, he needs to get paid which the Miami Dolphins have shown no signs of complying even though his agent spoke with the front office. Hill is waiting patiently for his turn but also wants Tagovailoa to reset the quarterback market.
