IShowSpeed accused Tyreek Hill of ‘ducking’ away from racing him even after the YouTube sports content creator paid him a visit at the Miami Dolphins training ground. The all-pro wide receiver excused himself, claiming Speed would know when Hill was ready to race him.
On Saturday, a day after becoming the #1 player football player of 2023, according to the NFL Network, Hill had a special visitor at Miami Gardens. It was none other than YouTube sensation IShowSpeed who wanted to race the fastest NFL player.
Speed looked ready to rumble, wearing his favorite national jersey of the Portugal soccer team. He tried to coax Hill to race him.
Tyreek Hill, y'all see it right here, live right now; he's ducking; he doesn't want to race the fastest person in the world; you just don't want to do it, bro.IShowSpeed said to the crowd gathered to see what was all the buzz about
Hill’s body language suggested that he was unprepared to take Speed on someone who is quite fast himself, as Sauce Gardner once found out. The veteran wideout managed to scoot out from the challenge by saying he would decide when the race happens.
Whenever I pull up [on you], in a full suit, with a briefcase, you know what's in the briefcase. With my shoes on, ready to run, you know what time it is, bro.Tyreek Hill told Speed
Even the fastest require adequate preparations before taking someone on.

Why did IShowSpeed want to race Tyreek Hill so badly?
Speed primarily made his name by streaming video games on YouTube and Twitch. He later switched to competing with popular faces—from sports stars to celebrities—in various challenges. His recent endeavor was beating Tyreek Hill in a race, which he announced while streaming on July 29.
We got the date. I'm about to race the fastest person in America on Thursday [August 1]… If y'all don't know, who Tyreek Hill is… Tyreek Hill is an NFL player. He is considered one of the fastest persons in America.Speed ranted

Hill, who also streams Fortnite and Madden on Twitch when he is taking a break from playing football on the gridiron, agreed to entertain him. However, Speed was a no-show on Thursday even after the 8-time Pro Bowler invited him to drop by at the Dolphins practice.
What's funny is, I [actually] invited him [Speed] out here to practice. I didn't say I was gonna race him, but I did say I was gonna invite him to practice,.Tyreek Hill said on Thursday

He even asked the coaches to throw in a few drills for their guest.
I wanted to see how he did out here with us the whole day. The group of receivers. I mean, just mixing up a little bit…[but] he didn’t show up.Tyreek Hill said
When Speed did show up, the Super Bowl winner stood him up. On the flip side, he did promise to race him when he was ready.
