More than a month remains before LeBron James can start working with Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, and the rest of the Philadelphia 76ers.

They need all the time to iron out how the team is going to share the ball. After all, along with the King, the team now has four ball-dominant players in the starting lineup.

However, all of them are intelligent and experienced enough to work around those problems. On top of that, having a championship-winning head coach to create schemes they can flourish in should make it all easier.

But it is easier said than done, and currently, players are doing their bit by working out individually or in pairs. James has been working out with guard Maxey over the past few days, along with some trainers.

Embiid and Edgecombe have started working out together at the 76ers’ facilities, and once Brown completes his media obligations, he will formally join them.

I know I’m ahead of y’all now, but make sure y’all check in!!!!

This was the two-time All-Star taunting James and one of the trainers. The four-time champion is generally known for heading to workouts far earlier than anyone else.

This time, it seems that not only did James’ newest teammate beat him to the facility, but Maxey was also trolling him about being late. If this is the camaraderie between the two Klutch Sports clients, it might not be long before it starts to rub off on the rest of the 76ers.

LeBron James and Tyrese Maxey work out on drives to the rim

One of the many problems analysts cited about the Philadelphia 76ers after LeBron James signed with the team was that the lanes to the rim might be clogged.

Both the league’s all-time leading scorer and Tyrese Maxey do the bulk of the damage by driving to the rim. So does Jaylen Brown, and VJ Edgecombe is also known to attack the basket when he wants.

Then comes Joel Embiid, a center who has added the three-point shot to his repertoire over the past few years. But there is no denying the fact that he excels when he is near the restricted area.

The 76ers will have to find ways to avoid clogging up the lanes so that they can allow one or two players at most to create havoc inside. James might be the playmaker, which should see him spend most of his time outside the three-point line.

However, that does not mean that he will not want to work on improving his movements towards the rim. Both the father of three and Maxey were seen practicing moves where they fake their defender one way, spin towards the basket, and finish with a dunk.

This play can be massively effective, considering every member of the 76ers’ starting lineup is adept at exploding for a dunk. If they can incorporate this play, then it could be difficult for opposing players to stop them.

Tyrese Maxey did not have to do much to lure LeBron James to the 76ers

LeBron James signing with the Philadelphia 76ers came as a surprise to many. But when asked how much convincing he had to do to lure the superstar free agent, Tyrese Maxey said this:

Not many. It wasn’t a lot of convincing. Couple of phone calls. Couple of texts. He’s a lot older than me, but I guess we’re friends.

Maxey told NBCSPhilly’s John Clark

This means he didn’t have to do much, and that James’ mind was set after watching how the team shaped up once Jaylen Brown, Dean Wade, and the other pieces fell together. That means the four-time league MVP must be feeling confident about winning championships with this team.
