Once LaMelo Ball was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, it dawned on him that he now has to move across the country and team up with another young superstar in Anthony Edwards.

The creation of this backcourt has already thrown up quite a lot of debates about how good they can be if they are motivated. The expectation is that this pair will be the driving force of basketball in Minneapolis for years to come.

The team needed a complete reboot after failing to make it to the NBA Finals again, and the first order of business they did was create enough cap space for Ball’s arrival by trading away Julius Randle.

As soon as the trade was confirmed, there was no doubt that the vibes in Minneapolis were going to be at an all-time high. Edwards is already known for his swagger, both on the court and during interviews.

Now adding Ball to the mix is going to ensure that press conferences are going to be entertaining almost every other game. That would have been even better had LeBron James joined, but the two young stars are enough to draw attention.

The 24-year-old has to now move his life from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Minneapolis. That means that everything he had in his house, as well as his collection of wildly modified cars, would have to be moved.

Those cars, though, are nothing compared to what was found in his house. A video appeared on social media showing what LaMelo Ball had created in his pad. From alien figurines to wild graphics on his walls and lights, this house in Charlotte was a young designer’s dream.

Fans lose their minds watching the video of LaMelo Ball’s house

Usually, whenever a young athlete starts earning millions of dollars, they try to upscale themselves by purchasing or designing their house to mimic what rich people do.

But in the case of LaMelo Ball, fans were surprised that the interiors of his house resemble what a teenager would do to their rooms. Fans felt that the California native had not grown up and was still a child inside. Check out examples of those surprised reactions below.

LaMelo Ball can choose to live the way he wants. But what baffled fans was how someone who is a grown man and a recent father could have such interiors in their house. They expect people to outgrow such things once they become professionals.

But it seems the newest member of the Minnesota Timberwolves does not care what people think. After all, he is going to continue designing his new house the way he wants it. This video was from the moving company assigned to bring everything from that house in Charlotte to his new place in Minneapolis.

LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards are going to light up the NBA, says analyst

Apart from his lifestyle choices, there is no doubt that LaMelo Ball is a talented, young basketball player who is about to join forces with another talented, young basketball player in Anthony Edwards.

Initially, some were skeptical about this combination, but one analyst, Kendrick Perkins, believes that the young duo might end up surprising everyone associated with the NBA.

They can reach the NBA Finals, to be honest. I expect Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball to be the best backcourt in the NBA.

Perkins said on NBA Today

The former champion pointed out how Edwards had to create most of his three-point attempts from last season, since the Wolves did not have a proper pass-first point guard to field.

Now that he is getting the player who amassed the league’s seventh-most assists in Ball, Perkins expects the Wolves’ offense to open up a lot more, while also allowing Edwards to mount an MVP campaign.
