Drew McIntyre reveals Tyson Fury is stalking him

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been involved in an off-screen feud with Tyson Fury for quite some time now. McIntyre and the two-time boxing world heavyweight Champion have been constantly taking shots at each other.

In a recent interview, McIntyre went as far as claiming that Tyson Fury is “stalking” him. This feud between McIntyre and the Gypsy King apparently began prior to Wrestlemania 36. It got re-ignited when McIntyre won the WWE Championship at the 36th edition of the Showcase of Immortals.

The Scottish Warrior, Drew McIntyre recently appeared for an interview with The Big Issue. During the interview he revealed that he regularly gets messages from Fury on social media. He still wonders if he should respond to him.

“Tyson Fury is stalking me. It’s the most bizarre sentence. I’d wake up every day and I’ve got another message on social media from Tyson Fury. Maybe I should answer him,” revealed Drew McIntyre.

Tyson Fury has prior experience of being involved in a feud with a WWE Superstar. He faced and even defeated Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel.

In a recent interview, WWE executive Triple H waws asked about a potential match between McIntyre and Fury. The Game agreed that the match has potential of breaking box office records and he urged Fury to just give him a call if he wanted the match.

At Wrestlemania 36 McIntyre became the first-ever British WWE Champion. He recaptured the title on a WWE Raw episode after defeating Randy Orton. But he ultimately lost the title to The Miz.

During the interview, McIntyre mentioned that when he captures the title again, he will return to the United Kingdom to celebrate. He added that he will go to Tyson Fury’s house and set up a match with him.

“When I’m able to win back my WWE title we’ll fly back home, get an open top bus at the top of Scotland. I’m going to make my way down Scotland, [and have a] big celebration all the way down into England. Get to Fury’s house, set ourselves up a little match. It’s going to happen. The thing is he has a genuine love for wrestling and he’s such an entertainer, he gets it. I know we could do some fun business together. Probably some kind of Battle of Britain would be the theme.”

Drew McIntyre will get an opportunity to win the title at WWE Wrestlemania Backlash. He will be facing current Champion Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman in a triple-threat match for the WWE Championship.
