Times haven’t been good for Tyson Fury. First, Francis Ngannou knocked him down in his razor-thin victory. Next, Oleksandr Usyk wobbled him almost to a drunken swirl in their undisputed heavyweight clash and won. Then, the 35-year-old Brit wobbled and faceplanted himself on the sidewalk! However, the boxer is back in the gym in preparation for the rematch.

This Friday, bouncers at the Nowhere Bar in Morecambe, Lancs, kicked Tyson Fury out after he had one too many. Moreover, he pummeled and faceplanted harder than any punch right after. Now, the Englishman reels from having had too many liberations. He is preparing for his Dec. 21 rematch against ‘The Cat.’ Accordingly, he touts some hefty resolves:

The king will reclaim his throne...Usyk, I'm coming for you... Counting down the days until I can get my redemption on Usyk. December 21st is gonna be my time...I’ve done everything in boxing, but I haven’t come back from a loss... Undisputed, here we come!

Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) bagged 114-113 on the judges’ scorecard. On the other hand, Oleksandr Usyk edged him out to a numbers game of 115-112 and 114-113. Under the didactics of boxing promoter Frank Warren, he has triggered a rematch clause with the Ukrainian heavyweight. While working the heavy bag, the Morecambe native thus voiced quite the resolve on what he knows he has to do.

After two long back-to-back camps, the ‘Gypsy King’ looks chiseled and better. Moreover, he has much to look forward to in his safety billing against Anthony Joshua right after. The former WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titleholder is shaping up for an all-time “Battle of Britain” against Fury. Hence, the Manchester boxer will need to be better than ever. Fury says he’ll be ready for it all.

The Fury vs. Usyk rematch has been set for December 21. Only one question has been revolving in everyone’s mind: Can Tyson Fury make the much-needed changes? The British boxer showcased some positive gradient of changes in his most recent camp. He even wobbled the Ukrainian with a solid uppercut in R6. But some think this time might be different.

As a matter of fact, former light heavyweight champion Oleksandr Gzvozyk says Oleksandr Usyk might even turn out better this time. There’s no accurate prediction of a slight, but he has more to lose. Usyk, 22-0-0 (14 KOs), holds the WBC, WBO, WBA, and IBF heavyweight title straps. The undisputed champ of the new era would not just concede defeat hat in hand.

Fury was in some bar, and people were carrying him. Today, it was like a confession. He was saying, ‘I know I’m going to be in the best shape…It’s going to depend on Fury because Usyk is going to be ready, believe me. I know this guy, and he’ll be even better. What Fury is going to be able to show, we’ll see because I’ve heard that after psychological stress, Fury goes on drugs and alcohol...

Fury bounced and pounced the heavy bag in his Instagram post today, showing fans he still can switch well. That is one prime flak he caught against Usyk: being stationary. Though the effort is great, Gvozdyk feels that the former WBC heavyweight champion can’t afford to go down with mental issues. Given the chance, he thinks Usyk will pounce harder yet again, if not even better.
