After months of verbal banter, the final showdown resulted in Israel Adesanya stamping his authority to defend his pride and title at UFC 253’s main event against Paulo Costa. As Adesanya wins via TKO in Round 2 against Costa.

Undoubtedly September’s marquee event was headlined by this championship fight. Where in Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya faced off against Paulo Costa in the main event after months of trash talk and posturing. The two undefeated rivals were expected to throw down to close the show of UFC 253. Some rivalries are run by bad blood and indeed this was one like that

Round 1 – The Hunt

Costa charged at Adesanya but could not connect. And once Adesanya started with his jabs and wobbly feet, it was difficult for Costa to control or read him, at least in the first round. With more than 20 significant strikes more than Costa. And more than 5 head shots than his opponent, Adesanya was cruising in the first round, he showed a class apart performance in how to defends your title and pride. As the buzzer sounded it was it was Adesanya leading the initial phase.

Round 2 – The Kill

As the second round commenced Adesanya was clear on his approach to the fight. With just approaching in a minute past the second round, Adesanya had already unleashed his beast. An unbelievable 50 significant strikes more than his Brazilian opponent. It was all about Adesanya, the champion, a devastating left hook brought it all to a close.
