Dana White is ecstatic after UFC 264 tickets sell out in seconds!

UFC 264 headlined by Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier trilogy bout was recently made official by UFC President Dana White. He revealed that the UFC will be heading back to the Vegas for the event and also that fans will be allowed in the stadium. A full capacity crowd of around 21000 are set to attend the event.

And, the tickets went on sale today, and no sooner was it opened, than they sold out. Taking to Twitter an extremely pleased Dana White posted an image of the event’s poster claiming that the tickets were sold out in seconds, with 20800 fans in attendance, on the 10th of July at Las Vegas.

A chuffed White tweeted, “BOOOOOOM!!!!!!!! See you in Vegas“.

Over the recent weeks the tickets of the upcoming main events viz. UFC 261, UFC 262 have sold out in double-quick fashion, and the President will be extremely pleased that UFC 264 has been a quick sellout as well.

The event is set to be headlined by Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3, after drama last week, as ‘The Notorious’ threatened to cancel the fight, due to Dustin Poirier’s donation accusations.

Other notable events that will be taking place are – Stephen Wonderboy Thompson makes his return to the octagon after capping off the last event in UFC’s 2020 calendar ear with a victory, in December. He will be taking on top ranked welterweight Gilbert Burns.

Jessica Eye will be taking on Jennifer Maia in a women’s flyweight bout, and Tai Tuivasa and Greg Hardy will fight it out in a heavyweight encounter.
