Probably the most awaited matchup of the stacked UFC 266 card. A rematch, 17 years in the making. A rivalry spanning three decades. Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler will fight it out in a five-round non-title bout, that will precede the co-main and the main events.

Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler last fought in April 2004, with the fight going Diaz’s way, when a then-20-year old Diaz knocked Lawler out in the second round. However, Diaz hasn’t competed since January 2015. Lawler, meanwhile, last fought Neil Magny in August 2020.
