“Cody ‘No Chin’ Garbage, welcome to the flyweight division,” Henry Cejudo goes off on Cody Garbrandt after first-round TKO loss at UFC 269
Henry Cejudo mocks Cody Garbrandt
The former UFC Bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt had a disastrous Flyweight debut against the number sixth-ranked Flyweight fighter, Kai Kara France at the main card of UFC 269. Garbrandt was the crowd favorite entering into this fight and Kara France was the betting underdog but he folded the former champion into the canvas at the very first round and stamped his authority.
This fight was one of the most talked fights on the whole fight card as Cody Garbrandt won only one out of his last five fights in the Bantamweight division. After his loss against Rob Font on UFC Fight Night: Garbrandt vs Font, he decided to make a cut to the Flyweight division. Kai Kara France was his first test in the division and he miserably failed in it.
Garbrandt started the fight with good calf kicks and he was moving well in the start but after three minutes, Kai Kara France dropped him with a right hand and he tried to recover and fight back but he got dropped again with a barrage of punches and the referee stopped the fight at UFC 269.
The Twitter reaction was really crazy after Cody Garbrandt’s loss and the former UFC two-division champion, Henry Cejudo was one of those fighters who ripped ‘No Love’. Cejudo tweeted, “Cody ‘No Chin’ Garbage, welcome to the Flyweight division. Kai Kara France you can thank yours truly for saving the Flyweights.” Although Cejudo deleted the tweet afterward but this was a ruthless one.
Petr Yan also took a jab on Cody Garbrandt after his disastrous loss at UFC 269
The interim UFC Bantamweight champion, Petr Yan also goes hard on former UFC Bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt after his first-round TKO loss against Kai Kara France at UFC 269. Yan first tweeted, “Lol’ and then “Undisputed UFC Bantamweight champion.”
Garbrandt lost his second consecutive fight now and he only holds one victory in his last six fights. It is going to be really interesting to see what is going to be ‘No Love’s future, whether he is going back to Bantamweight or he’ll continue fighting in Flyweight. Only time is going to answer this question.
